Godfred Bortey popularly known as Dj Godday is one of the few good Djs in Ghana. He is a resident of an Accra based Nite club- Hot gossip Nyt club-where he mashes up week after week.
He started djing at the age of 9years and got the love of many when he followed his uncle to events and pubs. His breakthrough came about in the 2007 when
he held down hosted customers at the pub he was resident in from 7pm still the next day 8:30am with nonstop mixing and good selection of music ranging from Hiplife, Dancehall, Hiphop,R and B and Oldskull.
The clubs and pubs he had played include GOKS,Emperor Nite, etc.
He worked with Madtime entertainment but now the official artiste Dj for Edem of VRMG and the following are his award nomintions from Ghana Dj Awards 2014 and 2015
